"Does anyone know where we put the cups?" Adam asks as he opens the second box labeled 'kitchen' that does not contain said cups. They have been unpacking for a good hour and there's still piles and piles of boxes waiting to be opened. Such are the woes of moving six people into one house.
"You know the boxes are labeled, right?" Blue says. She's unpacking the books while Gansey 'helps' but really, he's opening every book that he unpacks, reading a passage to Henry who's not even pretending to help.
"It would be useful if any of these things actually belonged in the kitchen," he took a stapler out of the box, showing it to Blue for good measure. All he wanted was a cup of coffee before tackling dinner. It didn't look like it would happen any time soon though.
"Noah!" she calls, raising her voice to be heard in the other room. "Where did you put the cups?"
Ronan answers instead, with the tone of someone who's being interrupted in the middle of something important. "We're busy!"
"I swear if you're playing video games while we work, I'm gonna kill you," Blue says.
"We're taking a break," says Noah. "The cups have their own box!"
Adam sighs. There are no boxes labeled 'cups' so it'll take a while.
"You do realize those two are probably fucking, right?" asks Henry, without looking up from the image Gansey is showing him.
"They wouldn't," Gansey says.
"Ah, fuck." Blue puts down the books she's holding. "They really are, aren't they?"
Instead of answering, Adam picks up his phone, tapping the screen until he finds DoorDash. "I'm taking a break then. What do you guys want for dinner?"
